
Dr. Young, Sherwood MD, MBA, Vice President
Introduction
Dr. Young obtained his Medical degree from the University of Tianjin in 1991. He was then licensed as a surgeon and practiced at Tianjin Hospital, one of China's largest medical facilities, for nearly six years. At which time he immigrated to New Zealand and eventually moved to Australia in 1996. Dr. Young obtained his Post Graduate Degree in Management during 1998 and was awarded a Master's Degree in Finance in 2000. Moving out of a student role he relocated to one of New Zealand's top universities to take on a position as the MBA Program Supervisor, a post at which he remained for two years. In the year of 2001 the call of his homeland pulled him back to China. He returned to the country of his birth as an investment manager specializing in healthcare and provided management consultation services to several of China's largest hospitals. Dr. Young found his niche in 2003 as one of the founders of Tiantan Puhua Hospital in Beijing. He then went on to take a prominent role within the hospital as Vice President where among numerous other duties he is directly in charge over the hospital's expansive international department. He remains today a driving force within the global stem cell community and an unwavering advocate for those in need. |
