In June 2005 Albert was involved in a car accident. Following the accident, Albert spent several months in a coma.

Abdulrahman Alsaadi, Saudi Arabia, 16

After sustaining a TBI during a car accident, Abdulrahman was left with a memory problem, a seizure disorder and inability to concentrate. Determined not to let the accident dictate his future, Alsaadi has decided to come to Beijing for treatment.

Mark Pender, U.S.A, 50

A car crash in 1996 has left Mark Pender in a coma, which was followed by respiratory and cardiac arrests and resulted in an anoxic brain injury. Following the trauma Mark is using a wheelchair, and has limit movement in his left side.
