REASON FOR TREATMENT
Mubarak began noticing his first symptoms in 2008. He has experienced right side tremor and weakness in all his body. While walking, Mubarak's right leg felt heavy. Mubarak's writing was worsening.
As Mubarak's condition was relatively mild, he wanted to slow down the progression of the disease and perhaps even halt it at it's early stage. This was the reason Mubarak chose Beijing Puhua International hospital for stem cell treatment.
CONDITION BEFORE TREATMENT
Mubarak suffered from difficulties sleeping and nightmares. He felt unsecure while driving his car and was suffering from emotional instability.
It became difficult for Mubarak to fulfil simple daily tasks as brushing his teeth. Before the progression of his condition, Mubarak liked to fish; however, due to his progressively slow movements he could not perform this favourite activity anymore.
Mubarak could not exercise like before due to fatigue.
Upon admission, Mubarak had right side tremor, and was suffering from rigidity. He also experienced sleep disturbances.
Mubarak's movements were slow and gait unstable.
