REASON FOR TREATMENT
Following a long and complicated delivery, Ke Yi has sustained severe brain damage. The changes in Ke Yi's brain led to a delay in her development and she was diagnosed as suffering from Cerebral Palsy.
CONDITION BEFORE TREATMENT
Upon Ke Yi's arrival to Beijing Puhua International Hospital her condition was assessed as relatively poor. Due to the weakness of her neck muscles, Ke Yi could not control her head, and tended to tilt it to one side often.
Due to Ke Yi's poor joints and muscles flexibility, her movement range was quite limited and she had difficulty performing any activities, including standing and walking. Ke Yi's muscle tone was increased, which interfered with her physiotherapy sessions.
METHOD OF TREATMENT
Cell Therapy implantations, Daily IV of medicines, neural nutrition and protection as well as Physical and Occupational Therapy sessions, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture.
CONDITION AFTER TREATMENT
After Cell Therapy treatment, Ke Yi's condition improved remarkably.
Ke Yi now has more strength in compared with her condition prior the treatment. Ke Yi is able to exhibit a wider range of movements during physiotherapy and occupational therapy sessions.
Now, Ke Yi manages to hold her head for a longer period of time. The flexibility of her joints increased evidently, also helping to widen her movement range. Actions like standing and walking are now attained much easier. She is now able to walk for about 20 meters with some assistance.
Due to the achievements Ke Yi made while staying in our hospital, our medical team predicts that she has good capabilities for further improvements in the near future.
