REASON FOR TREARTMENT
Ayyad has been suffering from type 2 Diabetes for 15 years.
At the onset of the condition, Ayyad used oral medications to control his blood sugar within normal levels. His condition was deteriorating gradually and he was eventually required using insulin along with his oral medication.
As the insulin dosages increased, Ayyad has decided to try stem cell treatment in order to stabilize his condition.
CONDITION BEFORE TREATMENT
Before stem cell treatment, Ayyad used 155 units of insulin per day to control his blood sugar, all in combination with oral medications. Even with high dosages of insulin, his blood sugar levels were not controlled well.
Besides blood sugar, Ayyad was also suffering from hypertension and upper tract respiratory infection.

CONDITION AFTER TREATMENT
After stem cell treatment, Ayyad's blood glucose levels have decreased. His insulin intake dosages have gradually reduced. After three weeks of hospitalization, Ayyad's insulin intakes have reduced to 18 units a day in total. His HbA1C also decreases from 7.9% to 7.4%.
Follow up
One month after Ayyad's discharge from Beijing Puhua International hospital, his insulin intake dosage has reduced to 35 - 55 units per day, and his oral medications dosages have also reduced substantially.
