REASON FOR TREATMENT:
In 2002 Michael was given a Hepatitis B vaccination, which caused dizziness, high fever and bilateral tunnel vision. After a week of high fever and different inflammatory symptoms, Michael's condition stabilized, however his family did notice a change.
Michael's symptoms continually worsened, until Michael started experiencing trembling in the right hand. Michael's MRI showed multiple lesions and non-systemic demyelinisation, and Michael was diagnosed as suffering from multiple sclerosis.
CONDITION BEFORE TREATMENT:
Michael's mother has contacted the hospital after learning of the treatments offered to treat Multiple Sclerosis. She was determined to provide Michael with all the options available to better his quality of life and perhaps improve some of the functions lost to the disease.
Upon arrival to the hospital, Michael was suffering from tremors in his trunk and upper limbs, which prevented him from caring for himself. Michael had a bladder and constipation problem, his speech was unclear and movements slow.
Michael had involuntary eye movements and no coordination of his upper limbs accompanied with constant dizziness.
METHOD OF TREATMENT:
Cell Therapy implantations combined with daily activation and proliferation treatment and extensive rehabilitation therapy (physiotherapy, occupational therapy and daily TCM treatments).
AFTER THE TREATMENT:
After undergoing Cell Therapy treatment, Michael's condition has visibly improved. The shaking of his lower jaw has decreased, which helped him seize biting on his tongue. Michael's extremities tremor has improved, and so did his coordination. He now has better control of his body and posture, and he is able to walk assisted by his family members (which is something he could not do anymore, before coming for treatment).
In addition to these, Michael's speech is clearer than before, and he can say clearly that he is hoping to continue improving after going back home and continuing physiotherapy.
After discharge, we wish Michael to see more improvements, and hopefully to hold off the attacks for an unlimited amount of time.
