REASON FOR TREATMENT:
Approximately 2 years before finally being diagnosed with ALS, Adam began noticing a change in his posture, his energy levels were low, and his right hand was very stiff and painful.
When he was given no other option, Adam decided to take the matters into his own hands and look into alternative treatment.
DIAGNOSIS: ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis)
BEGINNING OF TREATMENT:
TREATMENT: 4 Cell Therapy injections via lumbar puncture + nutritious Cell Therapy cocktail treatment+ 1 implantation of mesenchymal Cell Therapys (intravenous).
CONDITION BEFORE THE TREATMENT: Interview before.wmv; OT before.wmv
Adam's first symptoms were muscle waste and cramping up of the right hand. Right hand fingers were not easily opened up anymore, and could not straighten. The whole arm soon began loosing strength, and Adam began experiencing pain. After a while, it became apparent that Adam was limping and could not run anymore.
When Adam began experiencing pain in his right arm and elbow, a physician has misdiagnosed his condition and advised an operation. Adam was operated for a nerve replacement in his right elbow, which left him unable to operate his right hand almost entirely.
When finally diagnosed with ALS in February 2010, and told that his doctors can not advise anything apart from one know drug that seems to have no affect on Adam's condition, Adam and his family have decided to take matters into their own hands and began researching alternative treatments on the internet.
After coming across Beijing Beijing Puhua International Hospital hospital and getting in touch with the hospital's service representatives, Adam made a decision to come for Cell Therapy treatment.
AFTER THE TREATMENT: Interview-after.wmv, PT,OT after.wmv
Even before coming for treatment, Adam decided to change his life style, and began expelling toxins from his body and trying to maintain a healthier lifestyle.
Coming to Beijing Beijing Puhua International Hospital hospital was a decision Adam made after consulting with a few other ALS patients, and being advised on the treatment as the only alternative treatment offered to ALS patients worldwide that may actually slow down the progression of the disease and help him elevate some of his symptoms.
After arriving for treatment, Adam was applied with 4 implantations of neural and mesenchymal Cell Therapys into the cerebral spinal fluid via lumbar puncture and an additional intravenous implantation of mesenchymal Cell Therapy.
After the treatment, Adam was able to report feeling stronger and being able to straighten his right hand more than he was before the treatment.
With the help of Beijing Beijing Puhua International Hospital's traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, Adam has lost some weight.
Adam's general strength and mobility have improved, he isn't getting tired as quickly as before, and he is now able to walk for longer distances. Adam's flexibility in fingers and upper extremities was also noted.
Before leaving the hospital, Adam has confided with us that he was very hopeful towards going back home, seeing more improvements and applying the techniques learned in physiotherapy back home.
We wish Adam and his family health and all the best, and all the best of luck on his quest to beat the disease. |
