REASON FOR TREATMENT: Bill is an energetic 72 year old and a former police officer. He had always led an active life and felt restrained by his Parkinson's Disease. He had tried many medications and seen many doctors in order to get his PD symptoms under control but his condition was still effecting his daily life very much. In order to improve his quality of life, he decided to come to China for Cell Therapy treatment.
BEGINNING OF TREATMENT: April 16th, 2008
TREATMENT: 4 Cell Therapy injections via lumbar puncture + nutritious Cell Therapy cocktail treatment (intravenous).
CONDITION BEFORE THE TREATMENT: See Videos: before1, before2
On arrival in China, Bill suffered from a shuffled walk, decreased balance and limited mobility. He was also dependent on a cane for walking and he had trouble covering long distances on foot. Bill had enjoyed dancing, something he was unable to do any more due to his now decreased coordination, balance and agility. Bill??s also had trouble turning sharp corers and getting in and out of chairs or bed. Movements like rolling over in bed also required a large amount of effort. Bill suffered from tremors and stiffness brought on by his Parkinson's Disease, which made it hard for him to pick things up and hold things steady. Daily chores like dressing and washing were made difficult for Bill because of his condition. Bill needed help with little things like buttoning shirts and tying shoe laces for example, as well as shaving. Bill's speech was also effected by his Parkinson's Disease, he spoke with a very soft, mumbling voice and had trouble pronouncing words clearly.
AFTER THE TREATMENT: See Videos: after1, after2
After treatment, Bill noticed a marked difference in his levels of energy and his ability to move around. He was walking around more naturally than before and had less trouble going out for longer periods of time. Bill also found it easier to move around in his room and could get up out of chairs and in and out of his bed more easily. Bill noticed that his hands were steadier and that he could button his shirts, comb his hair and shave more easily and with less effort than before. Bill also noticed a change in his speech. He spoke with a louder voice and was able to articulate his words better than before. Bill and his partner Wanda left Beijing in high spirits after they spent their final days in China shopping and sight seeing. As they returned home, they were excited and happy to be able to return to a more active life that once again would include dancing.
